The humor. The acting. The cinematography. There were some episodes that were a little cringey but doesn’t matter, it was great overall. Excited for perfect girl!
Great that you liked it overall – any particular characters you really liked? Or compared with your own life? Do you have a list too?? And are you a head or heart sort of person?
Well. I actually loved Lingual the most. I think she had the most interesting personality. Was hoping for her to end up with Jimmy actually, idk why. And also, I am 19. Don’t think a list like so would exist for now. But it made sense. Jane looks like someone who likes to make sure her decisions don’t end up with as much casualties so she makes a list to make sure her future would be perfect, thus Charles. Jumping ship to Jimmy also made sense because well, she likes him. As in for my own head or heart? I don’t really know yet. Some times, the heart makes the home run. Other times, the head. Fair game?
Yes I guess you’re a bit young to be thinking about lists! 😉 And am glad you liked Lingual – she was our favourite character to write – so much growth and very very quirky! Am glad too that you were hoping for her to get together with Jimmy – we didn’t want to make it clear cut as to who should or shouldn’t get together – grey is always much more true to life don’t you think?
Planned on watching two or three episodes tonight, but had to watch the entire series! I loved it … loved the characters (especially Jane & Jimmy) but even the not-so-loveable ones became loveable.
I really enjoyed the male/female perspective throughout the series.
I look forward to Season 2. 🙂

I think Jane did the right thing leaving Charles.

Usually following your heart defies logic, but at the end of the day, it’s what’s going to bring the greatest fulfilment. I should have followed this advice throughout my life!!
Thanks Swami! Glad all the characters grew on you – who were your favourite characters and why?
Glad both you and Nur Huda think Jane did the right thing… although we hope not everyone dislikes Charles – it would have been an easy choice to make Charles a dislikable stereotype of a banker but Pavan, who played Charles, did a great job balancing him to at least keep him likeable. Otherwise even Jane would have become a bit of a loony for liking him.
